Vacation Package Highlights
The National Park Rail Tour follows the Alaska Railroad from the seaside port of Seward through Anchorage, our largest city in the State, into Talkeetna and finally to Denali National Park for a two night back country adventure.
Day 1: Seward
- Travel by rail Anchorage to Seward in Goldstar Dome Train
- Transfer by boat to Fox Island
- Overnight at Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge
Day 2: Fox Island / Seward
- Check-out after breakfast on Fox Island
- Depart Fox Island on the Northwestern Fjord Tour
- Overnight at Seward Windsong Lodge
Day 3: Seward to Anchorage
- Guided Exit Glacier Walking Tour
- Visit the Alaska SeaLife Center
- Travel by rail Seward to Anchorage on Goldstar dome train
- Overnight in Anchorage
Day 5: Denali / Kantishna
- Morning at leisure at Denali National Park
- Bus tour 90 miles into Denali National Park
- Overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.
Day 7: Talkeetna
- Morning departure back to Park Entrance
