Flightseeing
Take a magnificent flight around Mt. McKinley and get a bird's eye view of Denali National Park. You will experience the tremendous size of the mountains making up the Alaska Range, and even have the option of landing on a glacier! Watch for wildlife down below, including moose and bear. There are many tour lengths and destinations to choose from. Book in advance or inquire at our tour desk.

Fishing Trips
Spend a half or full day trying to catch the "big one" on a guided fishing trip. Trips usually depart in the very early morning or the early afternoon, and you'll need to bring your own food. Boxed lunches are available through the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. All fishing gear is provided by the tour operator: rods, reels, tackle, waders, bait and rain gear. There are also fly-fishing options available - just ask!

Jetboat Tours
Navigate the Susitna, Chulitna and Talkeetna Rivers with one of our recommended riverboat services. Ride in jet-boats complete with glass-domed windows and wind protection. View nesting bald eagles, beavers, moose and bear in their natural habitat. Naturalists will acquaint you with the wildflowers and plants that grow in abundance along the river's edge.

Hiking
The access point to many miles of beautiful multipurpose trails is located near the parking lot of the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. Take a walk and identify the many different Alaskan plants around you, including Dogwood, Fireweed, Iris and High Bush Cranberry.
